When I was small I had horrible trouble with learning to read and write, no big deal. But then, my mom when I was 10 gave me an awesome book simply named First Test, the first book in a quartet named The Protector of the Small written by Tamora Pierce. She's my lifesaver in the world of literature, this author and my mom, I mean. After that I shot off for better things, reading more books and I even developed a nack for writing interesting things, though I have chicken-skribble handwriting.
