Glad you came! My first poem was written in the 70's, influenced by bands then. My first poem- Battle Soldier, wrote in the Navy at sea, on watch. Never had writing classes, not academically inclined. Did graduate H.S.- Navy next, trade school, some college- avoiding English classes.
