I was born in Louisiana. I have worked a variety of jobs. One of which was a four year period spent in the Army(Active) as infantry, and one more year which I spent as a medic with a National Guard unit. I am twenty nine and the way I come to terms with some of things I saw and my nightmares is I write stories about the friends I lost. I do this so that they will always be around for me. The name swamprat was my given military nick and usually one other character in my stories will always represent the goofy, fun loving character everyone remembers as before I went overseas to Iraq.
