I have toyed with writing for many years, but since children and work demands are no longer pressing I can devote more time and effort to writing. I like composing poetry and short stories. However, I am working on a novel about a man who doesn't realize that he is slipping into the vortex of Alzheimers. I teach English composition part time at a variety of community colleges in the San Diego area and also teach a creative writing course for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
