Rose colored glasses are within my reach and I often put them on to write children's stories but aim more for a warm fuzzie feeling of wonderful realistic memories that we all pull out of the storage chest when we need comfort. Realism is just great in certain genre. It's great when you realize you can step over the line into fiction and build a monolith or just talk about the same old, same old.
