I'm an 18 year old who loved english at school but couldn't continue it to A level because I chose the sciences instead. So writing poems, songs and essays have become a kind of amateur hobby that I would like to develop - although at the moment writing poems and lyrics just serve as a way to express things. I started writing songs and poems after the death of my Grandad a year and a half ago and as my sister's illness got worse as it was a way to let emotions out that would otherwise have no way to escape. I doubt I have enough talent to pursue writing seriously but any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated all the same. :)
