40 years of journals, followed by poetry and short stories, and just recently a memoir. I have been a waitress, test-scorer, bookstore clerk (new and used books), school bus driver, nurse's aide, prep cook, chauffeur and now caregiver. I work 80 hours a week, 72 of them live-in for a woman whose mother has Alzheimer's. I'm re-acquainting myself with Latin and French. I am moved and humbled by the response to the poetry I have here.
