Misha McK was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. Her passion for writing as a child was developed through songs and poetry. It wasn't until her seventh grade teacher recognized her talent as a writer and entered her into the Martin Luther King "I Have a Dream" essay contest, that she herself believed she had a way with words. She received her undergraduate degree from Purdue University and Masters from Regis University. She resides in Decatur, GA with her family. This is her first novel.
