I am a 53 yr. old male who started writing poetry 2 yrs. ago about my adopted boys & my mother. Therapeutically it did so much for me, I kept writing. I did write a poem for my parents at age 13 & found many short versions in cards & letters I wrote when young. I'm a 31 yr. social worker by profession. I did adoption/foster care for the past 11 yrs. I also sell my poetry & greeting cards in stores in my home town. I've always enjoyed doing & creating greeting cards for people. I have written some songs for local gospel groups. One well known christian artist has many of my poems. I have also written a biography of my life.
