Okay, so I"m old (past 59), wordy, creative, and worst of all, intelligent enough to know I don't know it all after all these years! Dog-gone it! Sometimes I sit up all night to get better educated through the web. Some don't recommend trying to write poetry, an auto-biography, and a sci-fi simultaneously...not even for someone who is as aged and somewhat seasoned as I am. But I'm going to try. The poems submitted here are from last winter's writing class. Some were written under 45 minutes with just an idea of what to say for the assignment.

Mother Earth  [E]   0.8 KB
About our Mother (Earth) for all that she gives and what some of us are giving in return.

Littleton  [13+]   4.6 KB
The story of a modern country sheriff in a small town that develops big problems.

Old Roads Not Taken  [E]   1.0 KB
Something about what happened one day when it was safer to hitchhike.

Those Many, Silly, Little Muggles  [E]   1.0 KB
A poem dedicate to Mrs. J. K. Rowling for the Harry Potter series. Suitable for all ages.

In Your Head  [E]   1.4 KB
Is meant to be read quickly and with humor in mind & voice. Enjoyable by all ages.
