Having raised a half-dozen kids, I write to escape. Of course I still run most of my writing past my kids for approval. Most of my stories started off as bedtime stories to my kids, and as the kids grew up, so did the stories. You've heard of writer's block? No problem. If I slow down, get stuck, or just stop writing, I just read the last chapter, last page, even just the last paragraph to any one of my kids, and they tell me what happens next! Easy stuff. Smile
