I am a west-coaster of the mature kind, still working my day job, but retirement is beginning to shimmer like a refreshing oasis. I am not angling for publication, but enjoy writing short stories and poetry for pleasure. I enjoy getting feedback, (even of the "constructive" kind); so don't be shy. I hope something I write may make someone smile a little or think a little. Likewise, I am looking forward to reading the works of others and telling how it hits me as a reader.
