i'm a father, husband, brother, uncle, son, friend. i'm a photographer, a writer, a musician. i live in maine with my lovely, talented and patient wife, my lovely, talented daughter, my lovely and talented son who works for the randolph mountain club doing trail maintenance, a cat named rex and a dog named frodo. i was diagnosed in 2003 with multiple sclerosis, and while i do not dwell on it, i am never able to get very far away from it. and every now and then, despite my best efforts, overwhelms me.
