Dave grows up! Dave starts out with his last day in his abusive home culminating with his rescue thanks to some teachers at his school who finally took action. Dave then fast forwards to his teens and beyond into adulthood summarizing his difficulties in life and finally, teaching his readers the lessons he's learned.
