Raymond not only defines what makes up a good essay, he provides numerous examples of essays written by various authors. These essays in themselves make the book a ‘must read.’

All writers, because most essay writing techniques can be applied to other genres/forms of writing.

How the author provided lots of essays, (in their complete form), to further demonstrate his steps, thus underscoring the enjoyment received while learning how to write a good essay
