Julia Quinn's version of Cinderella, nicely done. Benedict Bridgerton is the young man posing as Prince Charming. Sophie Becket is our misplaced maid. If I told you the plot, I would be restating what you already know. Suffice to say that Miss Quinn keeps the story fresh and entertaining. Besides, you know you want to read what happens to the second Bridgerton son.

The characters are wonderfully sketched, as always. It did suddenly occur to me that while many authors have family series in the Romance genre, not many of them have such vivid characters. Each different Bridgerton remains their own person throughout this series. Quite an accomplishment. I'm in awe of Julia Quinn's abilities.
