I really tortured myself in coming to the conclusion that this movie is worthy of the perusal of a Writing.Com Comedy Newsletter Editor.

To start things off I decided to re-watch Shrek again. This movie didn't leave a big impression on me which is why I was reluctant to watch the second one. (I'm not a big fan of Mike Myers).

Shrek 2 was laced with a lot more innuendos some of them I wondered what parents were thinking when letting their kids see this movie. I loved "Puss in Boots" because he looks a lot like my Novello when he tried to be a cute a cuddly cat.

Some of my favorite parts of the movie are:

When Donkey and Shrek faced off with Puss in Boots for the first time and Donkey tried to kick the cat off of Shrek. The direct hit to the jewels was painfully funny.

The off-take of "Cops". (They called it "Knights")

The rescue of Shrek, Donkey and Puss in the dungeon with Pinochio(sp?) lying about wearing the thong.

In conclusion "DreamWorks" is like Disney animation with a more hipper soundtrack.

A family movie night with older children.

The soundtrack and the underlying theme of liking who you really are.
