A great overview of what makes up a compelling story. Intructions to write a story that works or fix a story that doesn't. Applies to all tpyes of storytelling: short stories, novels, screenplays, you name it.

The clear exlinations. Everything makes sence. I would have a vague story idea in my mind but I didn't know where to start. This takes the mystery out of the process.

It is fun and easy to read and is full of great advice. When I finish a rough draft now I open up the chaper on rewriting and go through each point, trying to make my story the best I can.
