  Summary of this Book...

In a rugged Idaho wilderness a scientific conspiracy unfolds. A scientist ignores ethics to conduct cruel experiments to speed up the process of mutation to prove without a shadow of doubt the truth of Darwin's theory of evolution. In so doing he creates a monstrous abomination that escapes and embarks on a murderous rampage.

Meanwhile, a massive search is conducted for a woman who was abducted by a family of Sasquatches. She is adopted by one of them and must learn to survive in their savage world.

This type of Book is good for...

A night at home with a nice cup of herbal tea.

  I especially liked...

Throughout history there have been tales of human children adopted by apes or wolves. This story has a taste similar to Kipling's "Jungle Book" or Burroughs "Tarzan".

  The author of this Book...

Monster reflects Frank Peretti at his literary best.

  I recommend this Book because...

It's an intense and suspenseful read.

  Further Comments...

It was so suspenseful I had to restrain myself from flipping ahead to see how everything turns out. That would be cheating. Frank Peretti is a master story-teller.
