The author of First Blood, as well as many other thrillers, writes about his career, but not only his career: he offers advice on writing and what to do after the book is written.

  This type of Book is good for...

Authors who are learning the craft and authors who are working on marketing will both get something from this book.

  I especially liked...

There was a lot of inside info here I haven't found elsewhere, such as the reality of bestsellers lists and the economics of a writing life.

  I didn't like...

There were times he contradicted himself and it could have used better editing to correct these errors.

  When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...

I sent it to my niece who is a beginning writer so she would know some of these facts from the beginning.

This is definitely worth the price of the book and the time invested in reading it. It is easy to read and follow, and still quite helpful.
