  Summary of this DVD...

I like to believe Greengrass, the "new" director of the series, wanted the updated version of Jason Bourne. As in the book, he finds a resolution for his past as well as his future. The ending was an interesting twist but I must warn new viewers to watch the previous films before seeing this one. You'll be so lost, you won't enjoy it at all. Damon never lost the theme of the character--promising revenge toward the CIA. The pace of the film was fast and gripping. It really hooks you like a book. You want to know what happens next as each scene unfolds!

This type of DVD is good for...

Action/Adventure readers and watchers. Even the most militia junkie will have trouble finding errors. I love to use these elements in writing for this genre. Of course, the books go into further detail but the movies pointed out obvious tools. When someone is trained in the military, you can see he's focused vista. The way he holds the gun, how he uses his mind in intense situations, and we can also note the torment of his past. Everything in this film can be used for a wonderful action story.

  I especially liked...

the intelligence placed into this film. This particular action movie also possessed a very strong plot. Action was wrapped around the story instead the other way around. The main character used his wits instead of gadgets.

  I didn't like...

One of the action scenes. The hero could've died in these car chases. Some other viewers would complain about how it was filmed: cameras shoved mere inches from the actors, literally shaky sequences, and bits of the focused obscured in the corner of the scene.

When I finished viewing this DVD I wanted to...

dance? I loved the movie!

  This DVD made me feel...

pleased that there was a director who focused on a great story and the writers stuck to the original elements of Ludlum's books.

  The cast of this DVD...

Very impressive.

  I recommend this DVD because...

There is not else to compare it. They written the story like it could've been anyone else--just realistic.

I don't recommend this DVD because...

If you don't like action stories or spy films.

  Further Comments...

Possible the best movie out of the series. It scored number 1 in the summer box office and now in the rentals--beating Harry Potter by 3 million dollars.
