  Summary of this Book...

Constance Chatterley married a nobleman of England before the war. He returns confined to a wheelchair and unable to fulfill "husbandly duties." However, it is the emotional closeness she most regrets not having. She finds it, and much more, with her husband's gamekeeper. Then comes the question of whether to remain in the marriage as society demands or to follow her passion she finally realizes she has.

This type of Book is good for...

All couples within established adult relationships would do well to read this one.

  I especially liked...

The psychology of the emotional side of sexuality is beautifully portrayed and tied in to the stifling, in the early 1900's, of all types of passion.

  I recommend this Book because...

Although banned when it was published for its erotic content, that plays a small part compared to the story, the concept of sexuality and sensuality, the knowledge that we are a passionate people and when that passion is denied, it leads to anger and frustration.
