  Summary of this Book...

For those with a yen to learn about Mohammad Ali Jinnah and his contribution to the partitioning of the Indian subcontinent into two different countries, this is THE book. Written in a simple, easy to follow language, the book explores the historical saga of Jinnah, the man, the leader, the Machiavellan plotter, and finally, the human being that he was. Read this book if you are interested in Indo-Pak politics, history, geography of the Indian sub-continent or simply - in Jinnah, the monster of India, and the Qaid-e-Azam of Pakistan.

This type of Book is good for...

those who love to read history, Indian or Pakistani lovers, those with a keen mind and those interested in Humanities.

  I especially liked...

The easy narrative, the excellent shifting of facts to come up with a tight explanation of the workings of the mind of MA Jinnah.

  I didn't like...

the quality of the paper on which the book is printed.

When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...

read a little more about the history of the Partition of India.

  This Book made me feel...

like throwing up when I understood what circumstances led to the division of one nation into a mutually hating pair of countries that are always at loggerheads with each other.

  The author of this Book...

Rafiq Zakaria.
