Men who stare at goats is actually NOT what i thought it would be. I quickly assumed after viewing the Movie trailer that the humor provided would make a good selection in comedy to pay the great total of 11$ to go watch at a local theater where I live. I entered the building with hopes of a few good laughs considering I watched the trailer a few times and laughed at what they offered by that, but once the movie began and ended, i come to realize that the movie was NOT what it's made out to be. The humor could have been more and the story I found was a bit lagging near the end, as if they just wrapped it up as quickly as possible without a care in the world about how the ending would effect the movies overall impression.
I have however read the book and found more detail provided in that than the movie, but I guess that's how most books and movies are like, the book appear better and more visuals then the movies can provide. However I will not knock the actor Clooney for his hard work in acting in this movie. Must have been hard to choke down some lines of humor that were there, even though the trailer shows all the humor parts with no other surprises involved.

This book would be good for a light read. If you bored that is.

I liked the beginning of the book and movie, for some reason it made more sense at the beginning rather than the ending

I did not like the ending what so ever..I would suggest going back and re-thinking the ending over again.

Not mention at all that I had even read this book, not even let on that I watched the movie, for it was nothing to brag about.

Disappointed beyond belief

I'm sure the Author was proud to see this book made into a movie, however, i wouldn't suggest a sequall

I am not a very opinionated person but I thought I would share my thoughts on this, however this is my opinion and over all impression of this book and movie..each to their own!
