another page of our life
waiting to be writ

as each day allows
sacred truths understanding
more light to our path

for years I waited
knowing not what or when would come
only faith sustained me

as still it does hold
irrespective of today
thankful I travel

words wait to be known
none exist which understand
dare begin compare

at the next great falls
I will hold you as before
a promise to find

until that day dawns
I will love you as always
in this life the more

dearest,

how far from the fall
we did wander alone here
wondering why life

in the sky a sign
shadows in the setting sun
led us to believe

there is a reason
for becoming who we are
mosaics of time

spent on a pathway
we were told was our choosing
finding truth reveals

yes our hearts freedom
is our will so powerful
our own paths reveal

colors of the day
are painted with emotions
make of us our lives

our own cloth of life
woven with our spirit guide
regardless of intent

can words explain the mysteries, can we ever know our reason, except that we are light ... and what is light ... but Love

trips us up and turns us 'round
waiting for more time

though you are right here
always as you were before
my longing increased

in my mind I fly
upon velvet angel wings
to your waiting hands

the keeoowah sing
songs of patience and truth born
in the waiting for you

so I welcome dreams
where wanting becomes my friend
longing my story

the hourglass fills up
with sand as memories born
seeds sown long ago

I am old and young
and each time I kiss your mouth
will be as the first

will fly as a hummingbird
wings formed of living

only the senses
