About Me:I am a wife and the mother of two adopted children. They each came with his/her own set of problems, and we have continually been challenged to find the right way to manage their behavior. We love them dearly and pray each day that they will overcome their problems, which were caused by things that happened long before we ever laid eyes on them.
Type of Writer:I started out writing poetry in April of 2008. I have since broadened my writing to include articles and short stories.
Writing Style:I write what flows from my heart, whether sweet honey, or dark molasses.
Interests:Writing and reviewing. I wish I had more time for both. I will be teaching at New Horizons Academy in the near future, and I'm excited about that.

Favorite Genres:Period stories from the fifties, sixties, and seventies; funny stories. All kinds of poems as long as they speak to me.
Favorite Books:Books about the Old South, mysteries, romantic comedies, true crime stories.
Favorite Poets:Robert Frost, William Wordsworth
Favorite Quote:Be especially kind, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Favorite Music:Music from the Fifties, Sixties, and Seventies and even eighties. The Beattles, Billy Joel, Rod Stuart, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston((then we get into Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn)) Can't leave out Amy Grant! My tastes are eclectic!
Favorite Movies:Sense and Sensibility, Stepmom, Sixth Sense, Signs, The Village Shawshank Redemption The Green Mile
