It's time to get SERIOUS. I haven't been writing due to life but I know now if I let life stand in the way of my talent I will loose it. I have to write or read about writing. I have to hand write in journals. I have to be active on this sight. I need to read the literature I want to write! We all have to get with the program or get off the speed boat of life.

My disability case went fast because I had a good lawyer and all the blanks were properly filled in. It got me out of homelessness. I feel for you. nothing like feeling hopeless or trapped.

My mother just turned 90. She was sick and, frankly, miserable when she was 45. Now she's old and mellow. Odd how life twists and turns.

Becoming an orphan was not easy for me. But everyone who lives long enough must face it sooner or later.

Hi All:
After reading the statements herein....I just wonder why each of you put up with this type of lifestyle. If your Husband (Wife) is treating you in this manner,"WHY DO YOU STAY?" That makes no sense unless you have a desire to hurt yourself. THAT IS STUPID.... Get out and live....You only have one life, and only you can be sure that you enjoy it.

I know how hard it is without our Mums but try to think she's with you in spirit and would want you to celebrate your birthday.

You know I left and went to my daughter's apartment to stay for a couple of weeks. She has a hard time since Mom passed away--I kinda knew it had something to do with my Mom's death, her inabliilty to let me be away. She talked about us just taking off and going on a road trip. Just disappearing! Sounded like fun. I quit the anti-depressants and what happened nothing! Years of taking them and they always said I would have withdrawals! Three weeks and nothing has happen. I feel the same just overwhelmedl

People say the drugs will help and make everything better, I am not sure I believe that. Yeah there are chemical imbalances and everything, but part of it is the individual, I know where you are or were I guess since this is several months ago. There is no secret feel better pill or trick, but there are ways to help. One is hanging tough and realizing that you are depressed, which you have already done and that is maybe the hardest step.
