Thanks, NOVAcat. I think it's common for parents to read to the tiny tots at bedtime -- a great tradition. However, at some point, the kids reach an age where that stops. This is when we need some kind of weekly or monthly family event focused on reading. Keep reading alive for kids who start to drift more toward TV and comuter games. Just a thought.

Not sure if we at Evolved Publishing will ever expand into collections of poetry and prose. It may not be a great fit for our business model, but all things are possible.

What an interesting topic to cover, given your new venture as an e-Publisher . For the record, read-to-a-kid is a super idea, one that implemented every night before tucking my kids into bed.

I am glad I dropped by your blog because I think your publishing house has a very interesting focus - bridging self-publishing and traditional - and I'll have to keep Evolved Publishing in mind for the future. Though, with your offerings, I don't see room yet for poetry or more lyrical writing...
