From NaNoWriMo historical Supernatural novels in South Alabama and historical horror in Standwood Station, GA-to the Phantom Northern Woods-to singlehandedly refighting the American Civil War-to exploring Social Justice and standing for First Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution-we deal out horror, Supernatural, Historical, fantasy, mystery, and more. We do not fear outspokeness.
And always, always, always, We Do History.

We write it. We read it. We hold strong opinions. We orate.

Meanwhile, whether we're writing or just reading, we love to rave about books and authors right here!

1.  HAPPY 2010!!!ID #681966
Posted: 1-1-2010 @ 2:31 pm EST

What's on my mind on this first day of the New Year? Well, first of all I'm thankful for the wonderful "new" home we found after the chimney/attic fire in the old house on Nov. 27. I'm thankful for my beautiful room filled with light from windows on three sides; I'm thankful that after 3.5 years I can have my PC in my room, so I can be online day and night, and write whenever the Muse arrives; I'm thankful for the "big" Christmas my grandkids here in Georgia had, despite their folks' fears that Christmas would be abbreviated.

Now: what is my New Year's Wish? (Notice: not Resolution-wish)

I wish for everybody-not just myself-in the WDC Community a year filled with Creativity, Love, Light, Joy, and Gratitude; a year of Writing, Reading, Reviewing-and serving our fellow members; a year of Charity, Compassion, Education, and reminiscing with thankfulness for our gifts. Now go forth, Community-and WRITE ON!!!
