From NaNoWriMo historical Supernatural novels in South Alabama and historical horror in Standwood Station, GA-to the Phantom Northern Woods-to singlehandedly refighting the American Civil War-to exploring Social Justice and standing for First Amendment rights under the U.S. Constitution-we deal out horror, Supernatural, Historical, fantasy, mystery, and more. We do not fear outspokeness.
And always, always, always, We Do History.

and only 17 days till Stephen King's UNDER THE DOME

attended a NANOWRIMO Plot Development chat yesterday led by
Diane , who moderated the Character Development chat on Wednesday. Very useful, each.

Reading Sarah Rayne's A DARK DIVIDING, a wonderfully-interwoven horror novel with multiple perspectives (POV), eras, and exciting historical input (Bloomsbury at the turn of the century, and contemporary Bloomsbury), different locales (Bloomsbury, Shropshire at the Welsh Marches), and some of the very darkest aspects of the Victorian-Edwardian eras. Fascinating and as always, so skillfully written.
