Interesting...I didn't know this, but perhaps it was someone from the museum itself? Or a relative of Poe, and it was carried down. You know the younger generation is a bit lazy...perhaps they grew tired of doing it.

I guess it is just like with Elvis. People attach themselves to another and their hearts break when they have to be called 'home'. You know, I could be right now reading UNDER THE DOME, the BRAND-NEW, LONG-AWAITED (okay by King fans, come on) Stephen King NOVEL! I could be-it came in on Reserve this morning at the Local Library, I'm holding it right now (like a newborn, can't let it get away), but I'm not. Instead, I'm WRITING on my NaNo Novel, because I need about 2418 a day to finish by 3 PM on Nov. 20. Well I have to arise at 4 AM tomorrow to babysit, so that's a gift of an extra 3 hours. Poor Mr. King...taking a backseat to NaNoWriMO.
I never would have thought it possible.
