Berenstain Bears co-creator Jan Berenstain died Friday. I remember reading the Berenstain Bears books when I was a child. Books like this helped fuel my love of reading, and I'm sure that of generations of kids. The article I read talking about Jan's death said that more than 260 million copies of the popular books have been published. She will be missed, but her legacy lives on. |
