We don't think of it most of the time. It's a gift we take for granted. I have COPD and asthma. I have been sick since before December. On and off with severe bouts. Trying to keep up with life has been a real chore. If it isn't my mother-in-law who is 88, it is my husband's photo fairs. In between all this, my asthma and COPD has given me grief. I remembered, cried and enjoyed too, the celebrating of September 11, 2011. It is the tenth anniversary already and I can't believe it. Before I went to sleep last night, I saw the blue beams representing the two towers and I was humbled and proud. All those lives taken and it was surely sad. I'm missing my little "Cara Sedona" already. My mind has been on diapers, bottles and watching my children (new parents) with awe. I remember when I had my first child. It is over-whelming and scarey. I spent two days sorting through 4-500 photos to put up on my Photo Bucket. It was worth it and now I can go look at them at any given time. I am finally a Grammy! That's the name that I will be called by my beautiful little granddaughter, born May 14th around 9:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. My sister,niece and her two and a half year-old came to visit us here in Arizona. I was impressed by little Katie's vocabulary. She actually talks in sentences and it was like talking to a little adult. These little people are so much fun to be around and are so refreshing. This year, I want to practice the art of disagreement without being disagreeable. I know this is a tough thing for me, especially with some of my family and friends.
