I got my manuscript back. I get to make more changes so that it can get published. I can't wait to get started. This is starting to seem real to me.

I keep trying to write, but I am so busy right now. I am about halfway through a novel, but I just am not able to sit down and write. I am still pursuing selling my script, Betrayal. Also, my book Sexy Lady is getting published at Red Rose Publishing. Yay! If anyone has advice on how to get past a brain freeze, let me know.
 

Summer is here! I'll have a few months to devote to writing and promoting. My script Betrayal is one item I want to promote. It is about a married woman who ventures into a dangerous relationship with a much younger man. My other book, Sexy Lady, (pseudonym KD Manasco) is a contemporary love story. He's rich and successful, she's poor and struggling to work her way up in the world. My sister loved it when she read it!
 

Sometimes we have to help others move forward. My brother and his wife lost everything in a house fire. They were not at home and by the time firefighters arrived, it was too late to save the three dogs and cat. The animals all perished. Since my brother had not been working steadily, they had let the insurance cancel. It was a way to save money at the time. My family is trying to help them rebuild their lives.
 

I have accomplished something new and something totally unexpected. I wrote a script. Of course, it is a love story (sort of) with a twist. It was incredibly difficult and nothing like writing a book. Regardless, I accomplished it and submitted it to an agent. Wish me luck!

My four year old grandson, Logan, is coming home from the hospital tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, 2009. We are so excited. He has been there for over three weeks suffering and rehabilitating from Guillain Barre' Syndrome. It will be great to have him at home again happy and healthy.
