The eve of another new year. Hopefully, 2010 will have some good things in store for all of us. Let's make the most of it.

May we rise above all crises unashamed with dignity, integrity, honor and vigor.

         HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hello. I'm on vacation this week and my parents are in town staying with me for a few days. So, I won't be writing much or reviewing much while they're here.

I trust everyone is still enjoying the festive atmosphere of the holidays. Happy New Year!

         MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

This year I celebrate my savior's birth without mirth. I didn't get into the Holiday -- no decorations, no cards and no excitement. I do love Him, my family and friends... just didn't get into the rush/high of the season because of my own state of being, which is at an all-time low. Though I fall, I shall arise again to declare and exude the fragrance of Him.

I hope you are celebrating with merriment -- decorations, bright-lighted tree, family and friends, with uninhibited laughter and smiles.

         Have a most wonderful day!

On this roller-coaster, the thrill disappeared as gravity hit the pit of my stomach. Around the bin and climbing, here's hoping tomorrow will be better as it repeats itself again. =)

Today is my sister's birthday. Since she lives so far away, we will not be celebrating with cake and ice cream, balloons, etc. Happy Birthday, Sis!

I got up a little late this morning, but my hungry cats were at the door off and on all night. Goof balls. They've got me at their beck and call. =)

After I make myself some fresh coffee, I plan to sit down with my bible and do a bit of reading. Then I'll shower and head to the gym for some yoga. My youngest grandson was six on December 16. So, right after yoga, my daughter and I are taking him shopping. My gifts will be practical this year---clothes, underwear, socks... and I already bought him a sleeping bag.

My daughter asked if I would buy both grandsons new shoes for Christmas. I enjoy buying them practical things they need... especially since the whole family is in grade school or college and mom and dad work full time too. =)

         Have a nice Saturday.

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Good morning! I'm up a little early; so, I thought I'd take a moment to say, hello.

My youngest grandson is six years old today! (First grade next year...) It was free for him to to see the fish and touch the crustaceans at the pier. We went a couple of weeks ago, and I told him, Since you are five, you get in free; but when you turn six, we will have to pay Four Dollars for you. It costs Meemaw Five Dollars to get in since I'm an adult. He got a big smile on his face. ...the innocense of a child.

Well, happy Wednesday. Enjoy your day.

December 13, 2009, Sunday evening

Three days up, one back down... I started getting ready for church, but my start was too late; so, I went on to the gym instead --- time for a workout before yoga at Noon. After the gym, I was wiped, exhausted... came home and fixed myself a nutritious lunch with plenty of vegetables. It didn't do the trick. After lying down for a nap, I awoke at a little after 5pm.

I could have picked up one of grandson's on the way home from the gym ---- but wasn't up for it. They're young... soon to be six and eight, constantly active. I'd rather enjoy our time together, than share a quantity of time and space, which is what it feels like when I'm weary.

I trust everyone had a nice weekend. It has warmed up a bit down here in Florida and it's humid as well. Cooler weather, come back!

Have an interesting, unbelievably fun work week. God's blessing to you.

I'm looking forward to a pleasant day.

Fog fills the skies down here in the heart of the city of St. Petersburg this morning. It is a little humid, but cool enough for a housecoat. Fresh air is circulating through my apartment; all my windows are open.

I have two of my outside kitties, sleeping peacefully on their beds inside.

Have a wonderful, Holy Spirit-filled day!

After a biopsy of my uterus, I am home for the day... back to the grindstone tomorrow.

I am happily celebrating a pleasant, peaceful day --- a short break from the norm.

May your own journey be prosperous and safe. God-Speed!
