Not so much a blog per se as a place to keep track of my links, notes, goals, and progress towards my ultimate goal of being published.

Although I have a regular journal/blog over at http://www.livejournal.com/users/shanachie13 (that I have been really bad about updating), I decided to start this here to keep track of just my writing goals and progress. So I have this and I have dates...and we'll see how this goes. I'd like to attempt to update it each Friday and keep things in progress. That doesn't mean I won't update at other times, but I'm going to commit to once a week for now.

Ultimate goal: To be published.
Time Frame: By December 2009 (does this seem unrealistic?)

Sorry to see all your hard work for the boys has gone to waste, and your room is almost unihabitable. Wish I could help in some way.

OMG! I'm just so glad that someone wasn't in there (like YOU) that was hurt in that mess.

And just remember, even though some of those things might be a little hard to replace, they can still be replaced. And those things that can't, well you had them for awhile, and they made you happy, and you will have more things soon that will fill those voids.

The good thing is that nobody was hurt.
