I've come up with a fun and creative new project for myself - putting poetry on images. What I will do is look through my already written poetry and see what images I have (taken with my camera) that fit the poem. Then I will rework those images and place my poetry inside that image. I am very excited to be doing this. I have already created three such images. Two of the images have poetry on them and one of them has an inspirational quote that I came up with. I've always had a dream of publishing (many) books and seeing my name on them... I am honored to have five books under my belt already and am working on two more books. One will be my third book of lyrics Melodies of the Heart and the other my first novel, which I have already written and am now editing. My very first book Pieces of Me is a collection of poems I had already written. Poetry featured in this book spans from what I've written since the mid-90s to 2007. It's a decade of writing that's inside this book. It's because of the support and encouragement of my readers, fans, and friends that I've brought this book to life and that I've been inspired to put together, write, and publish more books. My next two books Soundtrack of My Life: Volume 1 and Soundtrack of My Life: Volume 2 are a collection of lyrics I had already written. Lyrics featured in these books span from 2001 to 2007. That's a whole lot of lyrics and something for everyone to connect with and relate to. My fourth book Diary of a Crush - which includes poetry, lyrics, and prose on love/romance, relationships, heartbreak, loss - has some already written stuff but I also wrote new material for it. It was very exciting actually to be writing new material for the book, especially since it was focused on a topic that everyone can relate to in one way or another. My fifth book Treasure is a poetic tale. I've always wanted to write a poetic tale and share it with the world. I've never written anything that lengthy before and it was a very interesting and enjoyable process. There were hardships along the way, I will admit, but in the end it all worked out well. I hope to write more poetic tales in the future and hopefully publish them as well. Writing books is a very exciting journey, whether it be a poetry book, a lyric book, a prose book, a short story book, or a novel. I am working on two books right now - a third book of lyrics and my first novel - and I hope that there will be even more books to come in the future. Writing books is incredible and so is seeing them in print. I hope that my books touch people in some way and inspire them to pursue their dreams. Lately I've found myself with a lot of inspiration. I've been writing lots of songs (lyrics) and have decided to make a new book of lyrics. The book will feature my newly written lyrics plus those that I've already written since the release of Soundtrack of My Life: Volume 2. The title for this book will be Melodies of the Heart, which I think is emotional, touching, and beautiful. I think people will be attracted to the title and might connect to it as well. I am very excited to be putting together this lyric book and writing new song lyrics for it. I already have about 50 lyrics on there and will be writing lots more. I want to have at least 100 lyrics in the book, though would be nice to have much more than that. I am not sure when this book will be published and released yet as I am still working on writing new material for it.
