Thing is when you offer it for free they want it but if you ask them to buy it they don't...

Common folk don't understand THE poem.
1) They feel it's too high-brow for them - they are not smart enough.
2) They want plot, narrative, character, big book, many pages, lots of dead bodies.
3) They have no roadmap to a poem - et al - is it going to rhyme? Why are the lines weaving one way
and then another? Why are some words Capitilized, and other beginning sentence letters lower-case?

4) What in the hell did that poem MEAN?

Simply put.........the front cover of a novel, cooking book, how to make yourself rich in 30 days - TELLS a
reader what's inside, gives partial plot, stresses the story, and the benefit a reader will attain by a book's ending.

A book of poetry (I believe) must explain basic tenets - line variations, how to read a poem, what is a metaphor.

It should also have a front blurb on it's cover outlinging story, expected emotion, benefit for the reader when finished.

Life after college sure is tough. It's mush simpler when a person is still a minor. Less things to worry about.
