No, you're not 'normal'; neither was I. But ... ... most people aren't as normal as they think they are ... they can fool themselves and the world around them. At least, you know that you aren't and you're willing to say that to yourself.
You describe severe depression (no reason to feel down ... but you are) and numbness. I've been numb. Worse than the depression I'd learn to manage to survive.
The good news reading between your lines:
You know this is a problem.
You go out and live life regardless.
But don't you know? They'd just go get their pastors and families to rally behind them if anyone tried to take away their basic rights. Coz "how dare they....?"
*hug* I thought you might need one, so here you go. I'm sorry. I can't really say I empathize, but I do sympathize. I hope everything works out okay. *hug*
A fantastic and (brutally) honest entry!!. I wish many more people would read this. I hope that they do. You should have it as a Static Item in your port. Seriously!. I've read a fair bit of GLBT literature in my time, and your entry here is some of the BEST!.
Staying strong, standing tall, and staying where you belong. If only our world had more people like you.
