Just got the new bike for the charity ride - fancy sponsoring me ???

Then cool, give me a shout - its for the Douglas Macmillan cancer fund that supports terminally ill people during their last moments of life....


There's time ta make a real difference !!
The race/ride is on Sunday 30th may an I'm gonna try an ride 9.6 miles in as close to 30 mins as I can - I'm gonna kill myself achieving this to help others - lets not forget that -

Cancer can happen to anyone - anywhere - at anytime - it is 'the' silence killer of many of our loved ones

Maybe we can do something special to help someone in real need...

I've just enrolled on a site/Internet page where 'proffesionals' extend their skills - my second link is with my old lecturer from university - I've just scrolled through a number of his links and I notice that there are quite a number of professional writers/lecturers and publishers/editors....
I've only suggested that I'm a 'store assistant' at the moment!!?!!

So -
A) do I tell them I can write ?
B) do I direct them 'here' ?
(I've told very few people about my writing - close friends and family)


If you read this scribble and obvious rubbish that I bore you all with then - please - offer me 10p worth of your thoughts...

Oftentimes, I think, that the smallest - most trivial things - help us in our development -

From tiny acorns great oak tree are born!! (isn't this what people of wisdom suggest?)

Funny- its easier to write than talk...

(getting a new bike on friday, I didn't wanna chance ruining my road bike - there are parts Of the course that go 'off road' - £178 to replace a front buckled wheel ? Erm - no!!!)


That's if I'm fit n well.....
 

Traditionally fish n chips n mushy peas...

The ground work for the poly tunnel is almost finished, - 3 1/2 hours filling a 5 ton skip pretty much finished me and the garden yesterday - next month will see it 'hopefully' in place - then it'll be home grown veg all year round (that's if they actually grow)

The cycle ride is coming up fast too - I'm gonna try and offer a good account of myself - we'll see what the day offers...

Still cold here, the snow from the weekend has almost gone but thick fog has replaced it...
Why do people abandon their cars in 4cm of snow ??
I drove past a line of cars on Sunday - just sitting there, the snow bearly up to the wheel rim!!?


 

Yesterday was a surprised revelation for me - somehow I found that my account was up an runnin again...

Over the months that I've been away I've not tried to write at all, I was resigned in myself to never do so again, though at times it crossed my mind - thoughts and ideas enter my mind at times, lines that I think work well together - but this is all...
Over time I think I have forgotten how to write because when I sit I find I can't - and so - I guess that's it...

I've just re-read some of my writings - they were the best I could do - an I'm not sure I could return there
