Brilliant She
Your brilliance and shy kindling smile,
Brings praise of God from me.
The mold you cast,
Beauty so unique -
The most special that could be.
How you walk, and how you talk,
Beats quickly my heart, many times each day.
My heart has skipped many beats,
I dream of you each day.
As the afternoon sky passes by,
You greet me in my daydream day.
Your stunning, caring eyes,
Invite loves calm accepted trials.
Our closeness forged in passions sweat,
Brewed blood unique to none but you and I enslaved.
Your amazing being I taste in dreams.
Always with me onto my ending ream.
Thinking about what, where, and why we come.
Thinking about what I think, I should believe is done.
With conviction to drum up my action to succeed.
With my lambs heart still beating smart;
Slow beating calms my stead.
My manhood brings forth brave calls for you.
I cry out, and stand with conviction,
Known so clearly now, where I see none but thee.
For peace with one; you with me.
Calm seas as we sail the North Atlantic breeze.

Moving Castles
Maverick moving,
Going day by day
Thinking what was lived through,
Dreaming dreams now old and gray
Thoughts of what once said
Concerned greats the unfolding of each day.
Maverick living,
Most often in the past,
In my endless well of thoughts,
Regardless of when graceful words rewrite a page
resolutions always stays the same.
Maverick hoping,
lost in those kind moments
The taste, and touch, of love so great.
Maverick joy cast by tossing waves.
Maverick aching,
Painful by the moment,
In rage against the cage.
Lightly reaching out for friendship,
A tear of truth banished shyness gauge
Burning lights dormant in what feels forever's age.
Maverick flame,
To light that cold but anxious fire
Making countless sparks ignite in patterns ,
Rhyming our hearts together
I've dreamt in bliss those awe filled thoughts,
Countless times before.

Let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own.

Only You
These thoughts of you, love endures.
To kiss your lips that warmth insures.
A pace of gentle kind caress,
In thought of you for ever more embrace.
Endless sweet memories etched in time.
Moments caught your goddess taste,
Endless scent no other woman could chime.
Drempt countless image your warm flesh near mine.
Those nights of years we slept together close.
Your woman's warmth, and breath, love did stoke.
Passions addicted wonder only you invoke.
Deep in the heart a longing for you I wrote.
A dream again of your awe filling lucid frame;
Silky long hair to your beautiful feet.
In love for the rest of this life for that day;
Holding you close in my arms once again.

Journey
The long journey on this road has left me unknown.
Lost to sight and sound left to me untold.
That grip of love that held in me all that I was told.
Absentminded unwillingness for me to just let go.
Feeling like a kite high in the sky lost to the wind,
Twirling rampant without a string to anchor my lonely being.

Shameful
A fine fourteen year old lad, Burton Winters, from Labrador, died on the Labrador Sea days ago. He was riding his snowmobile trying to find his way home when he turned in the wrong direction and ended up traveling out onto the frozen Labrador Sea, and then when the snowmobile ran out of gas he walked nineteen kilometers until finally dying on the frozen sea.
Now, I am sure as you read that brief summary of the unfortunate event that cost the lad his life, you were gripped that a young person like that has died, just as so many Newfoundland and Labradorians are. As well as our fellow citizens in the vast nation Canada, along with those from other parts of our world who hear of it.
The tinge of disgrace, and shame of discrimination, becomes evident upon hearing from the DND. (Canadian Department National Defense) The search and response that took place was atrocious. He died on sea ice, and the Canadian Rescue Helicopter was not sent out to help search for the lad for 48 hours, when there was on hand a search and rescue helicopter available. The excuses given would shake the heart of any logical intelligent person.
The excuse I heard from the Officer in control of that Base is the reason I pen these words. I was shocked to hear what the man had to say as an excuse why the boy was not searched for.
He said that, yes, there was a helicopter on hand, but he said it was important to keep it available in case there was an emergency that needed it. Yes, that is right, I did not write that incorrectly! He said that the helicopter was not used because it was necessary to keep it available in case there was an emergency needing it.
If the life of one of our citizens is not an emergency, what is?

On the Stage
Standing on the stage with every light turned off, except one spotlight beaming on me.
That one light shining so bright illuminated me brilliantly, so all in the tightly packed hall could see.
Endless rehearsal, on countless days, had come then for a light to shine from my boyhood frame,
So the audience could hear the song coheres in me to entertain.
Centre on the stage, with a microphone standing alone there with me.
Gazing into the darkness, blank blackness stared viciously back at me.
In the thick darkness could possibly have been no one in that empty blackness peeking back to see.
An anxious shake in my bones, feeling every eye focused in anticipation; the spotlight's glare on me.
The piano began to play, ushering in the song for my young voice to sing.
That song I sang so many times, it flowed from the tongue, each tone rang-out so easily.
Yet, with all eyes transfixed with ears in wait to hear, I could remember not one word to sing.
Both tongue, and mind, frozen in fright; the stage had captured me.
The song played on as I stood without a word to mutter to the crowd waiting eagerly.
Each note played on in epic silence; a vengeful quiet sorrowfully crafted by me.
As the piano finished playing, that frigid silence grew more profound.
The spotlight turned off, and quickly made tears drip from my eyes and off my chin; if only they had seen.
Lost in an endless moment; that stage-fright had crippled me.
Far gone to fright who I was, and hoped that I could be.

Run Away
Please I beg you - run away.
You do not have to take those beatings once again today.
Run away, free your heart and see.
The joy of gentle safeness embraces you with me.
The blows and blood have graced in you,
A heart pure as the finest gold.
Immaculate your journey gifted by you,
To those murderous thugs.

Gonna
Gonna go there on a Monday.
Gonna stay there til it's Sunday.
Gonna stay until I know who I should see.
Gonna live these next few days like there's nothing left to say.
Nothin I could wish for, hope, or dream.
Stay each night and day until I foster what to say.
Until I grin a smile that only she can see.

Dream Just One Dream
You were my only hope.
My only dream.
Like a hurt young boy,
I've lost my being.
Wished so much to be with you.
To hold your hand;
To shine bright truth.
A truth so dark without you.
What hurts the most are
Thoughts I faded from your life,
Because that is what makes you
Beauties now vibrant host.
Always know I have dreams of you
Each day I breath
When my earthly cold without you ends
I forever dream of you again.
My open hand rests in wait for yours.
Please dream one dream, again we hold each other close.
