I will sing just a song
Let you know I'm not wrong.
Then I'll tell you that I've never seen.
The end of the rainbow;
The riches, and gold
To collect there by me.
There was just empty ground
At the rainbows end;
Just a prism beamed down upon me.
Yet in that far off land,
Where the people live grand,
And the green earth belongs
To the servants who see.
So now please clap your hands
For that passionate man,
Who has clotted each cut
As you bleed.
