18.  Dentists, and Coffee, and Drama... oh my!ID #667881
Posted: 9-15-2009 @ 7:08 pm EDT

Alright! Today I had to go to the dentist (well, technically some kind of specialist) as a follow up to the small mouth surgery that I had a few weeks ago. The guy said it was looking real good. So then why do they continue to poke around in there? I mean, is that really necessary? Really? And I don't mean to say dentists aren't nice people or anything, but they kinda always seem to bring on the pain. Plus they smell funny. Whenever I walk into a dentists office I feel like I might throw up, cause it has this sterile but slightly rubbery/bitter smell, that is quite unique to only dentists. *shrug*

Anyway, after I went to the dentist, my mom dropped me off at Starbucks while she went to get gas. I looked in the window and... YES! Yes yes YES! Finally, they have Pumpkin Spice Lattes again! (Read Starbucks is taking over THE WORLD! below) It was pretty funny, because when I saw that they were back I went in and kinda half yelled, half whispered "Yes!" And a girl who was sitting at a table inside giggled at me, and I was like. "Um... they have... pumpkin spice... lattes." *sweat* XP

When I returned home, I looked over at the news paper while I was eating my lunch. A small heading, along with a picture, said "Patrick Swayze Dead." Wow. I mean, I never really knew much about that person (other then that they were in Dirty Dancing) but I knew he was famous. I mean, what is GOING ON!? First Heath Ledger, then Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett (On the SAME DAY), and now Patrick Swayze. What is this? The year of the drop dead stars?

(I mean no disrespect, its just shocking.)

I was being really sort of depressive, which I guess I shouldn't be, cause I have like, a LOT to be thankful for. But sometimes I'm still unhappy. *shrug* I should probably look more to God to help me with all this, especially since when I die the clothes I wore or the video-games I played won't mean much at all. Oh well, I'll try to be strong, responsible, gracious, and poised. *trips* I mean, I'm the one who wanted to be a super hero for crying out loud! *Angry* Superman was never like this. But then again Superman wasn't a hormonally imbalanced teenaged girl.... so I guess I can give myself props for that. Pthb Anyway, I looked up and there is an add to buy Tootsie Rolls in bulk.

... those things still exist? *Confused*

*sigh* I'm not sure which I'm better at: Being a sore loser, or a sore winner. Maybe I'm just not meant to play to games. That or I have a ridiculously small amount of self-control for a 16 year old. Sometimes I really don't like myself. :( Really.

15.  IT IS DONE!ID #663794
Posted: 8-15-2009 @ 11:51 pm EDT

HOLY CANOLIE! I just finished my story tonight! Yes, the one that I've had the idea for and made several drafts for since I was in 5th grade! (I'm in 11th, now, so six years!) Me and my mom are going to edit it, and then give it to a friend who knows some people in Hollywood. So, with any luck, and God's will, my story will eventually be on the big screen! Expect me to be off a lot, and feel absolutely free to skip me in any of your campfires if I take too long. But most importantly, pray for me. I love you guys! Really.

Yeaha, vacation time! *Cool* I AM ready. *sighs* Hmm... well I certainly feel a lot better which is really cool to say. *Blush* Not feeling too good for a while sure makes you appreciate it when you do feel good. *Confused* That I'm certain. :D Oh... and have I said this yet?... Hmm... well... today I was sick. *Sick* So... that wasn't very fun. But I did get to play a little playstation 2 which was fun... I got Coraline and The Chronicals of Narnia: Prince Caspian the other day at Gamestop. So far I've only played Coraline but its fun. Bigsmile But *someone yells, "yeesh, what's with all de's buts?"* I didn't actually have the money for them so now I have to pay my mom back. So... its a win/lose situation I guess. *Confused* I'm not sure... I need to re-read my textbook on these kinda things... *Reading*

Alright... its been a while, so... hi! Bigsmile I'm writing a story, and its currently 90-something pages long. Yay! I have the first two chapters in my portfolio under the title of 365. I also made a site to promote my ideas and let people know a little more about me, so please stop by. Also, it has the people that I would like to play the selected characters... and a bunch of random junk about me. writetimewriteplace.webs.com/ I think its not bad myself. I am supa! *Cool* *gets hit in the head with something* Okay, okay... maybe I'm not there yet. *Confused*

"Wahoo! I'm happier than a tornado in a trailer park!"

- (stole that from Mater. 'Cars.)

This year for Thanksgiving we are going to Cabo. (Which is in Mexico, if you don't already know that.) And I am totally excited. My family vacationed there on Easter last year, but I didn't go because I was on a mission's trip to San Bernadino. So, this will be a first for me! Everyone says its great and I'm sure we'll all have lots of fun. Maybe I'll blog about it... anyway, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

7.  Concerning stories...ID #619506
Posted: 11-19-2008 @ 10:36 pm EST

I absolutely *Heart* writing stories. Which, is why I'm in so many campfires, of course. But I've just decided to start branching out. Who knows what I could be good at? Mystery? Musical? Another thing is that I always write in third person. So to get myself out of my comfort zone I've started writing some stuff in first person. Like, seriously, that changes everything! But I don't want to limit myself. So here I go, off on a writing adventure.

6.  Concerning dogs....ID #619223
Posted: 11-18-2008 @ 10:44 am EST

Dogs are very cute. I don't think any dog is ugly. I love all sorts of dogs, and I'm sure that when I have my own house it will be full of animals. Every time I see a stray I want to take it home. lol Dogs can be very loyal and loving. I mean, what's better than coming home to a warm furry animal that wants to slobber all over you? For some reason, some people don't like dogs. I'm not sure why. Bad experiences maybe. Also some people are allergic to dogs. Although more people are allergic to cats than dogs. Another thing about dogs. While they can be cute, and loving, and tons of fun. They can also be really annoying. Take my two dogs for example. Every time they hear the doorbell ring, they start barking like crazy. And Molly, the beagle, will keep barking, even if whatever it was left. She's kinda like a broken record. lol But, as I said before. You gotta love 'em.

This is my first try at a screen play! *Dum dum dum duuuum*

-Child- asks curiously "Mr. owl, how many smilies does it take to get to the center of a tootsie-pop?"

-Owl- starts to type in smilies. "Hmmm. Well lets see... Ah one Frown Ah two Smile Ah three Bigsmile Ah four Pthb-"

-Director- "This is a lot longer than the first commercial..." *manga sweat drop*

Lol

4.  The movies that are ALWAYS on.ID #619119
Posted: 11-17-2008 @ 10:08 pm EST

Okay, this may be random for a blog entry, but who cares. I like to watch movies. And recently I've noticed a pattern. They (the um... t.v. people) Are like always playing Jaws, and Tremors, and... something else. I forget. But seriously, they play Jaws like every week! Jaws, Jaws 2, Jaws 3, Jaws the 15th! Oh, and another thing I noticed, its actually sorta funny. At the end of the first Jaws when the blow up the shark and you see it headless sinking to the bottom? Well in Jaws: the Revenge at the end when they kill that shark, they play the EXACT SAME SCENE as in the first one. It doesn't look similar, its THE SAME. I thought that was sorta funny... *coughs* um... yeah.

3.  Starbuck's is taking over THE WORLD!!!ID #618930
Posted: 11-17-2008 @ 12:32 am EST

Like, seriously, I think Starbuck's is trying to take over the world. There's one in a Barnes & Nobles, and then their is one across the street from the book store. You can find a Starbuck's anywhere. Plus, coffee is addictive. So what if, one day, they take all the coffee away and say that they wont give it back until we give in to their demands. What would those demands be? I have absolutely no idea. Another reason I think their evil is that they only serve Pumpkin Spice lattes Oct-Nov. WHATS UP WITH THAT!? *eye twitches* Um... I need to go to bed. lol Bye.

This is still the same night. Heh. I gotta keep myself busy, I guess. Ah, who the heck am I kidding. My mind is always moving at a minimum of a million miles a second, and my mouth just a little bit slower. Which annoys my dad... poor guy can't keep up. Lol. I'm sorta miffed cause its not my turn to write in any of the campfires. Which is saying something since I'm in, like, 40. My heads full of ideas, and my heart full of dreams. I really like the saying, "Shoot for the moon. Because even if you miss, you'll be among the stars." I'm in love with the heavens. A.K.A, outer space. I paint pictures of stars and planets all the time. Its just so amazing to see all of those lights. And to realize, that we aren't so big after all. Some say that there has to be life on other planets, because the universe is too big to just be our "habitat". But is it too big to show how amazing God is? I'd say that its exactly the right size. Smile
