That said, that's awesome. I don't think I can even run a mile anymore and for some reason, running just isn't holding my interest these days. Various reasons, but whatever.

Hope your shins start acting right so you can do this thing. Either way, congrats on being able to run that far :D

Stashing your keys can work, too. Just find some place where no one's ever going to look. Or else you can slip just the key you need off the keyring, so it fits more easily into a pocket. As for eating, might as well not, but if you need a little something in your stomach a few spoonfuls of yogurt or a tiny portion of some easy-to-digest cereal might work.

I was so far ahead during the first week, thanks to a few days where I wrote about twice the 1667 daily goal. Now I've fallen back a great deal.

I had the whole day off yesterday, and I only wrote 1554.

I'm still determined to finish. I'm not getting discouraged, exactly, but I'm surprised at how little I'm writing each day. This year's NaNo is definitely different from my others.

Ivy is eating cake and I are having another NaNo meeting tonight. I hope I do as well at this meeting as I did at the last ones! I'm going to try to come up with some ideas while I'm at work today. I can't really write at work, but I can jot down ideas.

Word Count: 31,677
Goal for end of today is 33,340
