 My Journal/Blog/Diary So ... this is how IT, my blog, started to BE.  My mother is always saying that I NEED some privacy. Hey, I know that! Believe me, I DO! But my reply to that is: I'm a WRITER! I can't help it! That's what I LOVE  to do! I just have to RUN and WRITE,  every time that I feel that tingling inside, that almost makes it difficult to breath! Do you know what I mean  I know you've felt it before. Maybe not in the same way, or for the same reasons... but at least, you've felt it! For me, that's the road I have chosen and the one I'll have to travel ... again and again ... and again ... Like a writer I know very well once said:  "As writers, our journey through imagination can be pictured as a neverending story. At the "end of the road", we look back and say: I'm ready for a new adventure!" Wineska Cintrón (myself)  Now! Maybe you're wondering what you'll find along the way. Easy! My thoughts, my comments, critics,  anything. Just my life!  At least how I see it! Plain and simple! I can't promise you that I'll be able to write every single day! Only God knows for sure! But at least I'll try my best!  C o m e - i n s i d e ! Take a look around! Do you like what you see? I'm GLAD!  If you don't ... don't blame me! What a day! Well, well, well ... I'm BACK!!! And it feels REALLY GOOD!! Today was one of those days ... when things doesn't work as planned! So ... what about some lemonade? Do you want some? I drank a couple of those today. First, I had NO  coffee this morning, so a HUGE migraine took over me.  My son had a math test today (a very LONG math test), like a review of the whole chapters we covered since January, so I had time to relax, and keep my mind occupied to not think about the migraine!  When my son finished the test, he used the PC for a little while, (got a 100% on a Global Warming quiz/test on the internet), and I let him play for a while on his facebook account. I needed to cook dinner, so ... while I was at it I realized I needed some ingredients and things too like: bread, juice, toilet paper, soap and of course COFFEE! I WAS DYING! I couldn't concentrate on what I was doing! BELIEVE ME! Starbuck's Sign was FLASHING constantly on my mind. Therefore I said: "Jean lets go to the gas station to buy some bread and stuff and then we can drink a coffee at Starbucks! What do you think?" The answer was  GREAT! But let me tell you something my blogging friends. You CAN'T imagine, the look on my face when I went downstairs to find my car with a flat tire.  WT*!!!So ... here comes my lemonade! My son and I went upstairs again, and worked together to fix what in PR we call a "Ensalada de Papa". Didn't had all the ingredients, but at least our tummys are full. And of course! I called my mother "Emergency! PLEASE can you bring me some coffee? My head is exploding and my car has a flat tire? LOVE YOU MOM!"Moms! They ALWAYS come to the rescue! Mmmmm! Coffee! It brought me back to life! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words from Winnie's La la Land! We always have SO MUCH FUN! And the best part of it is that we Learn Together. The art exposition titled "Niños, Vida y Color" (Children, Life and Colors) is open (Here at Puerto Rico, sorry guys!), now till February 5, 2012. All the paintings are beautiful. What will the new semester bring? Can't wait! Till next time!!  |
