I surf many websites..seeking advise and seeking ideas from many sources.Sometimes, a quote or some kind of saying..hits home..or gets my creative juices moving..Here's a quote with no author behind it, I found on lablaugh.com..

I have been a freelance writer for many years and only wrote articles. Shortly after the death of my identical twin sister I started writing poems. I subscribe to several writers publications and they all state how important it is to have an online portfolio, blog or website. Well, I joined Writing.com on January 18 and have mainly posted poems. Yesterday I finally started a blog. I have a lot to learn about blogging! Anyway I hope that all this will help my career on the international scene. I am from Jamaica. Yeah...boredom can be soooooo annoying, yet it can also help you notice more things. Like when I was bored in my room, I stared at an old photo of mine. Then I noticed that there was a little girl in the backround. Same with writing, all of your experiences that you can remmember come to be one and gets you thinking. For instance, you're day at a beach will trigger an impulse of writing about water creatures. And mystery can also be in there. Even being bored can benifit you. When you've thought of a story, poem, ect. after many thoughts in quiet, you may think of something even greater than the oringinal. It's amazing, well I believe so. ^_^

I had a great weekend with a group STI at Cape Cod. All singles. I took a greyhound all the way to Hyannis, MA. How do writers get their information or ideas..by taking rides like that! Everyday is a bus ride. You see all and hear all. Cape Cod was a great place If I was a writer or painter on one of those sand dune shacks..I would go nuts. But isolation does a writer/painter good. Awesome beuticful!Happy writing to all. plainsue
