I am writing an anthology about a couple who are hired killers for a Cajun mobster. Saw you and noted you're in writing classes and an eager reader. The tales I'm doing are aimed at your demographic and I would be honored if you could and would have a look at what I've been up to and forward to like-minded readers be they in person or on this site!
Ty sincerely and I shall reciprocate the read!

Two years ago today, I joined Writing.Com. I am proud to say that it is one of the best decisions that I have ever made! *Bigsmile*

yeah, I'm feeling much better now, thanks! *Smile* luckily it was just the common cold, but when you have a lot of stuff to do, being sick can really slow you down. That's really cool though that you work with your school's arts magazine, and I'm glad that you like school...well, except for hibernation coming to an end *Frown* How's the workload been? not too bad I hope. I just finished some big school-writing projects myself

Good to hear that. And no, it's not my school's arts magazine; I work as the editor in Arts Section is my uni magazine. It's general-topic magazine, but I just work as the arts editor. Well, it makes me busy, to be honest, with arranging interviews and contacting possible reviewees and all, but it's kinda fun.

Too bad though, now I hardly even open my WdC account. I still am writing, but more in other writing's group in my area. So, well, it feels sad I don't use WdC much anymore. Frown

Anyway, what kind of writing projects are you working on? One of my assignments insist me to self-publish some kind of short story collection -- a very short story collection, only 2500 words in total. And I'm not really happy about it -- I don't want my first being a published author is through self-publishing -- but I can't argue else I don't get a grade. Frown

How about you? Any interesting writing this semester?

Had my first in-class story critique of the semester today. There's room for improvement (always! *Wink*), but it went really well and people enjoyed my story! It's times like these that I'm proud to call myself a writer!

Very agree. This is even better than facebook. *Smile*

But I still don't know how to use it, honestly. Do we just need to write something on the 'Update' box above to enter something? Technology and I are never good friends. *Pthb*

Yes! You know, I love it how whenever I wish you could do a certain thing on Writing.com, like post status updates for your friends to see, The Storymaster and the Storymistress somehow read my mind and surprise us with something great! *Bigsmile* But yes, just write whatever it is your thinking in the box, and wait to see what happens...and that's okay; me and technology fight a lot, too *Wink*

Your work on "The Bike Race" is so wonderful. I did not read rest of your writings yet. So far I'm loving it very much. I posted a review basically filled with what I thought of as I was reading it from where I sit; in the reader's seat. Congratulations!!! Keep writing! *Peace*
