Another thing I found invaluable was the suggestion in The Artful Edit to read your work aloud or have someone else read it. I had my son read it and found it enlightening with immediate changes.

I'm finding that the hardest part of writing a book is not the story, it's not the editing or the revision, it's not even the synopsis or query letter - it's the cover design.

Once you complete your book, you may want to submit it to World Castle Publishing. They offer incredible cover work to those who's novels they choose to publish. Go to the World Castle site and take a look at the awesome artwork.

I've started posting my newest novel - Guns of War. It's a Christian Sci-fi and I would really like feedback on this. I know people are reading it, but I have yet to see any comments, good - bad - or ugly on this one. For those in the Sci-fi know I really want your comments. I'm over my head on this genre, but so far it's going well. I will be posting more in the coming days. It's not a finished project yet, but it's nearing the end.

Glad I reviewed this item, Valerie. I have to say, I can't get over how much compassion was put in that poem. Historically, it is the worst day
of terrorism on American soil. I want to salute the flag and pray for those who died. *Cry*
