| Giselle thanks WdC's Notebook |
I just thought I'd pop on in, and share this poem I penned. I wanted to say, fridays here. Have a great weekend! This scribble comes to you on behalf of the "Peaceful Pursuit Project" | |
| Happy Belated WDC Anniversary! Hope it was a good one! | |
| ||
| Yes, thank you. Thanks to members like you, my account anniversary was totally amazing. | ||
| Happy 4th Anniversary! Jan | |
| Thank you, Jan. All of you WdC friends are really making me feel very spoiled these days. | |
| Sorry for the late wish but.... Happy WDC Birthday Friend! | |
| It's never too late. Thank you for stopping by. | |
Check out this forum. It will keep your fingers dancing over the keyboard all summer long.
| |||
| Hi, Giselle! Happy 4th Anniversary! I love to read and write as a way to relax, also. I know you will get published one day. I've been there and it's makes you want to speak out and be heard. Write on! | |
| Hello Irishman, Thank you for the greeting and the encouragement. | |
| |||
| Question about cheating in fiction. Acceptable or not? If some cheating is allowable, how much of it do you think? A bit of eye flirting? A kiss? Going down? Or all out full frontal you-know-what? Or none at all? | |
| Well, a cheating character can be interesting- love triangles are always interesting, and create drama and conflict. Perhaps the character is to marry Woman A for political reasons, as it's an arranged marriage, but he loves Woman B, and wishes he could marry her instead. | |
| Thank you, oh supportive writer friends. All of your comments make a lot of sense and I feel much better about letting my characters be themselves rather than be what I hope an audience could like. | |
| Being a romance writer, I have to say any cheating in a romance story is a big no-no. Now if it's more of a mainstream novel and it's appropriate to the story, I'll go with it, but for me, generally, cheating is reflective of a lack of personal values and that doesn't really appeal to me. | |
| Hello community, I am hosting a raffle to benefit "Anniversary Reviews" | |
| Count me in. | |
| Is anybody going to the Los Angeles Book Fair on April 22? | |
| Home sweet home after ten fun and exhausting days in France. Nothing like my own bed. | |
| Tina, nobody makes Mochas as good as Starbucks. Luckily, Paris has Starbucks. LOL. France has better cheese, definitely, but their coffee culture of two ounce cups was killing me. | |
| Did the caffine in two ounce too strong? Yah, the Starbucks coffee is what I like. Even Mc. Donald's can't do mochas haha- tina. | |
| I'm glad you had a great time, but more glad that you are safe and sound back in the good ol' USA! | |
| Ah, April Fool's Day. I even got an angry email for my handle and custom-icon. Although ... I am not sure if the angry email was an April first joke. (?) For today only, I sign of, Fooled You. | |
| Thank you for the raffle tickets my friend! | |
| And thank YOU for my raffle ticket. | |
| Oh, lovers of words, has it escaped you that we have Pi day? Happy 3.14! | |

| Haha my dork of a husband had to call me to tell me about Pi Day. What I like about Pi Day is exactly 3mos til my birthday. | |
| Tornadoes ripping through the lands. I hope all WdC peeps are okay. | |
| Nicki and Pat, glad you're online and well. | |
| Pat, I'm about 45 minutes NE of Atlanta. Didn't know you were in the South too! Glad to hear your sister didn't have any tornado damage. Stay safe | |
| I'm glad you're safe, Nicki. After reading your piece about Kudzu, I had no doubt you were somewhere close by. | |
| I just bought tickets to Paris for my family. Yes, I am excited. No, I won't be able to buy a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon this year, but I'll get to sit in a plane. | |
| Thank you all, for celebrating with me. Mara, I was tempted to skip the trip for the Jeep, but then Consumer Reports said that the 2012 Jeep is so much better than the previous years, I'll pick it up when they go on sale. Or in my dreams. LOL. | |
| I feel better knowing you considered it. | |
| Congrats! I have always wanted to go to Paris. I just got Jeep Wrangler Sahara a week ago :) | |
| I got sick from too much chocolate today. I hate days when my kids come home with the pockets full of candy. As a good parent, making sure they don't overeat, it's my duty to eat as much of it as I can. But my tummy doesn't like it. | |
| You must really like Halloween. | |
| Giselle Jace topped it off. hahahah | |
| Halloween is messed up. After we sort out the candy that was obviously handed out for the third (or more) time, we weed out anything we don't absolutely love and would buy for ourselves. Everything edible, but not to our taste, gets handed to a homeless person bag and all. | |
| Happy 30th Birthday, SoCalScribe! "SoCalScribe's Birthday Bash" | |
| Happy Birth Day, my friend. May this day be the most special day for you. Treat it like you own it: YOU DO! :) | |
| Who's going to be up for the total lunar eclipse tonight? Visible from the US west coast from 6:06 am until 6:57 am PST. I'm waking the kids up at 5:45 am tomorrow. | |
| I won't be awake then. I missed it. | |
| I woke my kids up at 5:45 am so they could see it. Although a lunar eclipse doesn't mean the sky is playing music for us, it was an interesting thing to see. Yes, the moon was orange! We say it go from nearly gone to almost gone. It's a slow thing to watch when it's early and cold out. I'm glad I caught it. I was able to make a science lesson out of it how Sun, Earth, and Moon line up and why there is a lunar eclipse. | |
| Ooh!! We saw it here in Japan yesterday!! | |

| Thank you. Happy WDC birthday to you too. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Thank you for the balloon. I love balloons. | |
| Thank you so very much for the greeting. | |
| I'm still wondering what hit me. (Scratching my head). This new format looks informal, but maybe that will what work to bring in more members. Is this Sliders concept new? (Scratching more vigorously, only my head but.) | |
| Pretty neat all the new features, huh. Facebook better hide, cause this here is about to go crazy with even more activity than ever. | |
| SILVA! I just noticed you started book 4. For some reason I can't see book 3 anymore because another was added since my last read. *Loves Silver to death!* | |
| I started and have a whole lot of work to do on it. Thank you for the encouragement. | |
| Hey, my lady, just stopping by to "hey." | |
| Oh, I love to know when other have the same birthday as me. | |
| And the rubbish people will write here is inevitable! | |
| Ah, I have a notebook. Interesting. The things you find out about this site. | |
