You two have created a game of epic proportions. I don't want to miss it, but it's going to take me some time to read through the rules this weekend. I've only played RPGs with my hubby as GM, and I didn't care about rules. He told me if the move I wanted to make was possible or not. *Laugh*

Thanks Giselle! That means a lot to us! I think the best part about it is that it is no where near as complicated as it seems. The Battle doesn't take place until November 7th. The entire month can be about preparing and learning. When you are ready, purchase your first creature or make your first review. We will then send out a short survey for your army name and battle cry. Once that is returned, we will set up your arsenal and you're in the game! *Smile*

Ghouselle, it's not nearly as complicated as you think. Patrick has done his usual thorough job of explaining all the rules. However, just buy some tickets, convert them to creatures, then take it a step at a time. I've learned how to earn blessings. Well, actually, I figured out more than that; I just haven't gotten further than that in the game. It's easy and fun! Jump in! Bigsmile

"And WHO is that?" my muse asks, sitting on my bare-shoulder. She digs her fingernails into the soft flesh under my left ear, where she likes to hang on as I write. "Is she the one you often write to and review her poems, and waste your valuable time when you should be 'using' me?" I nod and wince as the fingernails dig deeper. "Well, tell little miss Mandy that you are busy and you have no time for her." I sigh. "And what if I don't?" I ask. What she whispers in my ear does not fit ASR.

Catching up on my reviews! My muse is cleaning my house for me! I may have finally figured her out. When she has something to say, she HAS to say it through me. It's kind of her MO. If I resist, she has no choice but to wait. The power dynamic has shifted between us. She has a need and I have to power to deny it or grant it! Well, she HAS resorted to wearing slinky nightgowns while she cleans, hoping for my attention (and I glance sometimes), but we both now know who is boss!

Been spending the last couple days working on my epic monster. I have a list of reviews I need to catch up on, but I can't very well turn the muse away. I love it here! My entire day is geared around the time I spend at WDC. The community is so welcoming, the people so intelligent and friendly, helpful and insightful. Joining WDC has been as good a decision as joining match.com was a bad one! And trust me, people, that is saying a LOT! 11/7

Thirteen reviews in two days. I have been glued to WDC around the clock, working on my book revisions and meeting some wonderful people.
